01: The Purpose Of Prophetic Ministry

In this first session, Kris Vallotton explains that while Old Testament prophecy primarily highlighted sin and the need for a savior, modern prophetic ministry should focus on revealing the hidden treasures within people—their God-given potential and destiny. This shift from being "sin-finders" to "treasure-hunters" aligns with the New Testament's "great and glorious" era, where God's Spirit is poured out on all people, enabling everyone to participate in prophetic ministry that transforms lives by revealing their true identity and calling.

02: The Difference Between Prophets and Prophecy

In session two, Kris shares that prophecy should be rooted in love, serving three main purposes: edification (building up), exhortation (drawing people closer to God), and consolation (comfort). He also shares that prophecy involves both foretelling (predicting) and "forthtelling" (speaking things into existence), and includes three components: revelation, interpretation, and application.

03: Hearing God's Voice And Learning God's Language

In this third session, Kris teaches that recognizing God's voice is a gradual process, similar to learning to recognize a friend's voice over time. He shares the importance of discernment, noting that believers can receive input from four sources: their own spirit, the Holy Spirit, evil spirits, and angels.
